研究领域:
化学信息学: 以计算机辅助光谱结构性能关系为基础,结合化学计量学模型与算法的研究,构建新颖实用的基于小波变换光谱-结构关联体系;化学软件研发。
生物信息学:蛋白质数据库序列的分类和归属研究;蛋白质结构解析算法;蛋白质及相关类数据库管理系统的研发。

工作业绩
主持主研完成(含在研)了国家自然科学基金项目5项,教育部优秀年轻教师基金、博士学科点专项基金和骨干教师基金各1项,其他省部级科研课题多项,获部省级成果2项,发表论文90余篇,出版专著2部,现为四川省化学化工学会分析化学专业委员会副主任、中国化学会化学教育委员会委员、四川省学术带头人(后备人选)、省跨世纪杰出青年学科带头人。国家教育部高校理科化学教学指导委员会无机及分析化学指导组成员。
