Butch Vig是一位美国唱片制作人，音乐家。最为著名的是他作为著名的麦迪逊，威斯康星州的另类摇滚乐
队垃圾乐队（Garbage）的鼓手和多白金畅销专辑制作人包括涅槃乐队（Nirvana）的专辑Nevermind以及碎瓜乐队（Smashing Pumpkins）的专辑Siamese Dream等，他是洛杉矶的居民，Vig曾在美国威斯康星大学学习，在当地乐队Spooner和Fire Town，然后成立了自己的录音室Smart Studios.在成为了知名的制作人后，他组建了Garbage垃圾乐队，乐队在十年时间里销售了超过一千四百万个唱片。在Garbage乐队中途停顿的时间里，Vig开始全职制作唱片包括绿日乐队（Green Day）的专辑21st Century Breakdown。
制作人生涯
