人物生平
三岁Waddell 就开始和她的小伙伴们一起在教堂唱歌 后来这个甚至上了Charlotte 电视台的关于这个教堂的每日节目。高中时代 她参加了学校小有名气的合唱队，甚至获得了在在Carnegie会堂（在 纽约）一起表演的机会。 当然她还是 杜克大学（ 美国知名大学位于美国北卡罗莱那州 达勒姆的知名私立男女合校研究型大学）音乐工作室的知名校友。
Waddell 拒绝了Belmont大学所提供的足够支付她 大学音乐学习生涯的奖学金。因为她觉得上帝好像引导着她全心全意专注于音乐，于是她放弃了读大学的机会。2004年 她把自己的第一份经济约签给了Vertical Entertainment，后来签约了Word Records Sparrow Records（2006年）。她的第一张专辑 Say It与 2007年 5月22日发行。同时她还和Sanctus Real, Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp, Steven Curtis Chapman等人一起担任了the Winter Jam Tour的开场表演嘉宾。
