赵永聚，男，出生于1974年，山东曹县人。1997年毕业于莱阳农学院（现青岛农业大学）；2000年毕业于甘肃农业大学；2005年毕业于第三军医大学，获医学博士学位。英国威尔士大学（2006年）、丹麦奥胡思大学（2009-2010年）访问学者。现西南大学动物科技学院副教授、硕士生导师。中国畜牧兽医学会高级会员，中国畜牧兽医学会养羊学会常务理事，中国畜牧兽医协会专家组成员，中国实验动物学会和重庆遗传学会会员，动物遗传育种与繁殖教研室主任。

   主要从事动物育种学、动物遗传资源保护、转基因动物、生物信息学的教学和科研工作。
